What we do well

Export Markets
Enzol International is a trusted name in specialist agricultural trade. Exporting to 14+ countries across four continents, with relationships that span the full length of our trading history.
We remain deliberately focused on what we do best: sourcing and supplying high-quality New Zealand plant-based products, importing high-quality products not available from NZ sources, managing every stage of the transaction, and treating every buyer and every supplier with the same respect that built this business.
We are not a large corporate machine, and that is intentional. It means our customers deal with decision-makers, get honest answers, and receive personal attention that larger operators simply cannot provide.
MPI Registered Organic Exporter. BioGro certified. Both streams available across our core product range.
One contact, one contract. We handle procurement, quality assurance, compliance, documentation, and logistics.
From grower to customer, every product is documented to international recall standards. Traceability is not optional — it is how we operate.
We work with buyers and suppliers at every scale. Genuine enquiries at any volume are always welcome.
NZ’s seasonal cycle makes Enzol a critical supply partner when Northern Hemisphere production is out of season.
These are not just marketing statements. They are the behaviours that have earned Enzol its reputation over 32 years, and the standards we hold ourselves and our partners to. Every single transaction.
Every product we supply is fully traceable from grower to customer. We source only from reputable, certified suppliers and manufacturers who meet our quality standards. Traceability is not just a certification requirement, it is how we do business. Farmers are contracted to agreed standards. Processors certified to required specifications. Documentation is maintained throughout. Every step is auditable.
We deal professionally and respectfully with all parties. We are transparent about product availability, pricing, timelines, and any challenges that arise. We hold ourselves and every party we choose to work with to a high ethical standard. Our reputation (32 years in the making) is our most valued business asset, and we treat it accordingly.
We actively invest in the relationships on both sides of every transaction, with our NZ suppliers and with our international buyers. We have customers who have traded with us since the 1990s. We measure our success not by transaction volume, but by how many of today’s customers are still calling us in ten years. That orientation shapes every decision we make.
Enzol is a family business and will remain one. When you contact us, you reach the people who own and run the company, not a call centre, not a junior account manager. We are available, accountable, and personally invested in every outcome. This kind of access and responsiveness is increasingly rare in international trade, and we consider it one of our most important advantages.
We say what we will do and we do it. We take care of end-to-end management of every transaction, contracted pricing, trusted logistics partners, full documentation, and all of it is managed by one team. When you work with Enzol, there is one phone number to call, one person accountable, and one company that owns the outcome from first enquiry to final delivery.
New Zealand’s clean environment, world-class agricultural standards, and Fernmark licensing framework make our products globally competitive on quality and provenance grounds. We are proud to represent NZ product internationally, and we work to maintain the standards that give that provenance its meaning, from soil to shipping container.
Enzol’s office is located in Ashburton, 80km south of Christchurch, at the centre of New Zealand’s most productive agricultural region. This is not coincidental. The Canterbury Plains produce some of the world’s finest arable crops with exceptional soils, clean water, low pollution, and a climate that delivers consistent quality season after season.
Being embedded in this region means we have direct access to the growers producing products our buyers want, utilising relationships formed over decades on the ground, alongside a deep, practical understanding of what good product actually looks like before it’s packaged and shipped.
Canterbury’s free-draining, deep alluvial soils are among the most productive in the world. Making them ideal for the specialty arable and oilseed crops Enzol has traded since 1994.
A plentiful, uncontaminated water supply from the Southern Alps feeds Canterbury’s irrigation systems. This is a critical factor in producing consistently high-quality agricultural product.
New Zealand’s geographic isolation and clean air standards mean our products are produced in one of the world’s least polluted agricultural environments — a genuine competitive advantage.
NZ’s growing season runs counter to the Northern Hemisphere. This makes Canterbury-sourced product available precisely when European, North American, and Asian buyers need it most.
Our location means direct, ongoing relationships with the farmers and suppliers growing producing our products. It’s not just distant sourcing from a spreadsheet. We know our growers and producers, and they know us.
