Who We Are

Enzol International Ltd ("Enzol", "we", "us", "our") is a New Zealand company registered and operating from Ashburton, Canterbury. We source and process high-quality organic and conventional speciality seeds and natural products from the Canterbury Plains, and export those products to markets worldwide.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with our website enzol.co.nz, our business enquiries, supplier and customer relationships, and any other activities that involve collecting your personal information.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its 13 Information Privacy Principles (IPPs), as amended by the Privacy Amendment Act 2025 (effective 1 May 2026).

As an international exporter, Enzol works with customers and partners in Australia, USA, Canada, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, UK, France, Spain, Japan, Korea, Germany, and other markets. We may share necessary contact and order information with these overseas parties in the course of fulfilling commercial transactions.

Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure the receiving party:

  • Is subject to privacy laws that provide comparable protection to New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020; or
  • Has agreed in writing to protect the information to a comparable standard; or
  • You have expressly authorised the disclosure.

Some website service providers (such as hosting or analytics tools) may store or process data on servers outside New Zealand. We select providers with appropriate data security standards and contractual protections in place.

  • Enquiry and contact form data: Up to 3 years, unless the contact becomes an ongoing business relationship
  • Marketing email subscriptions: Until you unsubscribe or request removal
  • Website analytics data: In anonymised or aggregated form — typically 26 months

When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or permanently anonymise it.

Right to Object to Direct Marketing

You have the right to ask us to stop using your information for direct marketing. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the unsubscribe link, or by contacting us directly.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Contact our Privacy Officer using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. There is no charge for a first access request in any 12-month period.

Our website and services are directed at business customers and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
